Privacy

Privacy by restraint.

Helio keeps a private record of your GLP-1 routine. The simplest way to protect that record is to collect as little as possible, never sell it, and let you take it with you. That is the whole policy — the rest is detail.

What Helio stores

Helio stores the things you choose to write down: injection dates, sites, your saved label details, vial dates and notes, food-noise check-ins, and habit notes. It also stores the basics needed to run an account — your email address and your subscription status.

Everything in your journal is entered by you, from your own pharmacy label. Helio does not connect to your pharmacy, your clinician, or any external health system, and it does not fill in medical values from a database.

What Helio does not do

  • It does not sell your data, and it does not share it with advertisers.
  • It does not build an advertising profile or track you across other sites.
  • It does not use your health values for marketing of any kind.
  • It has no social feed, no public profiles, and no way for others to see your journal.
  • It does not collect anything in the background — nothing is recorded unless you write it.

Payments and billing

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Card details go to Stripe, never to Helio — we don’t see or store your full payment information. Helio keeps only what it needs to know whether your access is active.

Access is granted by your account record, not by a payment redirect or anything stored in your browser. If billing and access ever disagree, access stays closed until your account confirms it.

Analytics and diagnostics

If Helio uses analytics, it is to understand product health — whether pages load, whether saves succeed, where things break. Diagnostics exist to keep the journal reliable, not to study you.

Your journal content — injections, notes, labels, food-noise entries, habits — is never sent to analytics. Health values stay in your private record.

Exports and deletion

Your history belongs to you. You can export your full record as a plain CSV file at any time, and take it wherever you like — including into a conversation with your clinician.

You can also delete your account and your data. Deletion means the record is removed, not hidden. Leaving Helio should be as calm as using it.

A note on what this is

Helio is a private record-keeping journal. It records what you entered; it does not provide medical advice, diagnose, or tell you what to do next. Your pharmacy label and your clinician remain the source of truth for your protocol.

This page describes how Helio handles your data. Account, export, and deletion flows all live behind your account.
